I wish to avail this opportunity to share my concerns with you about our roles and responsibilities in this cyber era when the landscape of education is transforming at the jet speed.Traditional teaching method has been replaced by its tech based digital version. Classrooms are witnessing a giant leap in formal education from ‘Chalk and Talk method’ to ‘e- and online mode’. During the period of pandemic, it was the oxygen of online learning that breathed life into the process of education at the global level. Students as well as educators got exposed to the innovative ways of teaching and learning.Furthermore, the education scenario is being greatly influenced by Artificial Intelligence these days. Tools like Alexa, Siri, Voice Assistant etc can understand human voice and respond to our queries. In the same way, Al tools like Chat GPT can compose essays, articles, emails etc on any topic within no time. But everything has its advantages as well as disadvantages. Misguided use of technology is creating havoc in society.Digital frauds and cheatings have become very common these days. Technologies like Deepfake are being misused to spread hatred, misinformation and confusion everywhere. Image of any person can be spoiled by replacing his/her voice or face with the help of this advanced technology.

So it is very important to ensure that the advanced technology is used for the benefit of mankind.

So let’s envision the future where technology is used ethically, fairly and judiciously.
